Custom Rehearsal Dinner Cards

Include the couple’s names, the dinner date and time, the venue name and address, and RSVP instructions. You can also add the hosts’ names, dress code, and parking details. If the ceremony rehearsal has a different location or start time, clearly separate those details from the dinner information.

Make your rehearsal dinner invitations feel personal through your wording, color palette, and overall design. Draw inspiration from your wedding theme, the dinner venue, or a meaningful part of your relationship. A warm welcome or a playful opening line can help set the tone for the celebration.

The guest list typically includes the wedding party, their partners, immediate family, and anyone participating in the ceremony rehearsal. Some couples also invite out-of-town guests or other loved ones. Send a dinner invitation to each invited household so everyone knows which events they are expected to attend.

Aim to send rehearsal dinner cards about four to six weeks before the event, ideally after the wedding invitations. If guests need to arrange travel or arrive earlier for the rehearsal, share the plans sooner. Choose an RSVP deadline that gives you time to confirm attendance with your venue or caterer.

Match the wording to the mood of your gathering. For a formal dinner, try: “Please join us for a rehearsal dinner honoring [Couple’s Names].” For a casual celebration, try: “Before we say ‘I do,’ we’d love to celebrate with you!” Follow your opening with the event details and a clear RSVP request.
