Halloween Dessert Serving Platters

Halloween dessert serving platters are a festive way to present decorated cookies, brownies, cupcakes, and candy-coated pretzels. Mix ghost-shaped treats, pumpkin-inspired sweets, and chocolate desserts for a spread that feels right at home at a Halloween party.

Pumpkins, ghosts, bats, and spiderwebs are classic Halloween design ideas. For a playful look, consider cheerful characters and bright orange accents. For a moodier table, draw inspiration from haunted houses, black-and-white patterns, and gothic lettering.

Choose a color palette, then coordinate your platters with napkins, a table runner, and seasonal decorations. Orange and black create a classic Halloween look, while purple accents add a whimsical touch. Paper bats and decorative pumpkins can help tie the display together.

Group desserts by type for a polished presentation, or alternate colors and shapes for a playful pattern. Arrange cookies around a central cluster of brownies, or create rows of ghost- and pumpkin-themed treats. Leave part of the platter’s design visible to make it part of the display.

A family name, a Halloween party title, or a phrase like “Trick or Treat” can inspire a personalized platter design. For a photo-based concept, consider a favorite costume portrait or a collage of past Halloween celebrations.
