Photo Wedding Announcement Stationery

Q: What is photo wedding announcement stationery?

Photo wedding announcement stationery shares the news of your marriage with a personalized card featuring a photo of the two of you. Unlike a wedding invitation, it announces a celebration that has already taken place rather than asking recipients to attend.

Q: What should we include on a photo wedding announcement?

Include your names, your wedding date, and a short message announcing your marriage. You can also add the city or venue where you exchanged vows, along with a favorite wedding photo. Keep the wording focused on the news and your joy as newlyweds.

Q: Which photos work well for wedding announcement cards?

Choose a clear, high-resolution photo that captures your connection, such as a ceremony portrait, a candid moment, or a favorite newlywed photo. Look for an image with flattering light and a composition that leaves room for your wording without covering important details.

Q: When should we send photo wedding announcements, and who should receive them?

Send wedding announcements after the ceremony, ideally within the first few months of married life. They are often sent to extended family, friends, and colleagues who were not at the wedding. If you are waiting for professional photos, it is fine to share the news once your favorite images are ready.

Q: How can we word a photo wedding announcement after an elopement or small ceremony?

Use warm, direct wording that celebrates your marriage without implying an invitation. For example: “We tied the knot! Jordan and Alex were married on June 14 in Charleston, South Carolina. We are delighted to share our happy news with you.” For a more formal tone, begin with your names followed by “are pleased to announce their marriage.”

Share your newlywed news with photo wedding announcement stationery that puts your favorite wedding picture at the center. Browse announcement designs to find a look that suits your celebration and helps you share the happy news with loved ones, including those who couldn’t attend.
