Striped Blankets For Summer Decor

Blue and white stripes create a crisp, coastal look, while coral, yellow, and aqua bring a more playful feel. For a quieter palette, pair cream and beige stripes with light wood accents and simple ceramics.

Drape a striped blanket over the arm of a sofa or fold it across the back of an accent chair. Repeat one color from the stripes in a vase, cushion, or piece of wall art to tie the room together.

Stripes pair well with florals, checks, and geometric prints when the patterns share a color. Combine bold stripes with smaller, more detailed motifs, and add solid-colored accents to keep the arrangement balanced.

Bold, high-contrast stripes make a striking focal point in a simply styled room. Fine stripes or softer color combinations offer a more understated accent, especially alongside colorful artwork or patterned cushions.

Arrange striped blankets over indoor lounge seating to carry your party palette throughout the space. Red, white, and blue stripes suit Fourth of July celebrations, while bright citrus hues complement a summer birthday or casual get-together.
