Wedding Rehearsal Dinner Invitation Suites

A wedding rehearsal dinner invitation suite is a coordinated set of stationery that shares the details of your pre-wedding celebration. It typically centers on an invitation and may include an RSVP card or a details card. Matching colors, fonts, and design elements help each piece feel like part of the same celebration.

Include the couple’s names, the dinner date and time, the venue name and address, and RSVP instructions with a response deadline. You can also add the hosts’ names, suggested attire, and parking or transportation details. If the ceremony rehearsal and dinner have different guest lists, share rehearsal instructions separately to avoid confusion.

Rehearsal dinner invitations generally go to the wedding party, immediate family, and anyone participating in the ceremony rehearsal. Couples may also invite those guests’ partners, out-of-town guests, or other loved ones. Address each invitation clearly so recipients know exactly who is included.

Sending rehearsal dinner invitations about four to six weeks before the event gives guests time to plan and respond. If guests need to arrange travel or attend several wedding-weekend events, share the basic plans earlier. Set your RSVP deadline with enough time to confirm attendance with your venue or caterer.

Rehearsal dinner invitations can complement your wedding invitations without matching them exactly. Carry over a color, monogram, or font for a cohesive look, then add details that reflect the dinner’s setting or mood. A relaxed gathering might call for playful wording, while a formal dinner may suit a more traditional style.
