Advanced Editing Mode
Keep your best editing features easily accessible at the top of your canvas. Just toggle it on when you want it!
Storyboard View
Do you prefer creating in storyboard view? Just click the "Storyboard" icon in the header.
Scrolling View
Now you can scroll while you create! It’s the easiest way to get a quick overview of your entire book and make fast changes.
Photo Tray Placement
Keep photos to the left of your book or click the top right icon to move them to the bottom of your screen.
Easy Photo Borders
Add one to a single photo, all photos on a page, or all photos in your book. Just click on any photo to see your options.
Photo Backgrounds
Go to “Backgrounds.” Select the single page or spread option. Open “Photos,” then drag and drop whatever photo you’d like to add.
Photo Filtering
Make photos easier to find and place in your book by filtering them right in the customization bar.
Photo Sorting and Grouping
Customize your photo tray by making the photos appear smaller or larger. To minimize clutter, hide or remove the ones you aren't using.
Photo Alignment
Use the “Align” function in the dropdown menu to line up your photos.
Apply Layout to All Pages
Like how your layout turned out? Easily apply it to your whole book by going to the “Page Options” button and selecting “Apply this layout to all pages.”
Auto Layout
The auto-layout tool drops your photos into a layout right when you add them to a page! Switch this toggle OFF if you’d rather create your own layouts.
Shuffle Layout
Once you’ve dropped your photos on a page, you can click the “Shuffle” button to rotate through layouts and find your favorite.
Edit & Spell Check
Edit text directly on your creation or from the customization bar. We’ll even highlight typos for easy editing.
Unlocked Text Boxes
Easily add, rotate or resize your text boxes to fit your space.
Text Box Alignment
Use the “Align” function in the dropdown menu to line up your elements.
Opacity & Background
Keep your text box legible against the background by adding a background color and adjusting its opacity.
Multi-Select
Select and move multiple elements at the same time. Hold down “Shift” and click the elements you’d like to move.

Don’t worry! You can still import pages from another project by going to the “More” dropdown menu above your photo book.

Easily set the font and type sizes for your entire book! Go to the “More” menu above your photo book and select “Global Text Styles” to get started.

Start on Any Month
You can start on any month! Select date options and update via the drop down menu.
Manage and Add Events
Click a date to add/remove holidays. You can also add custom events with a photo and text. They carry over to future calendars, too!
All Months View
With this new view, you can zoom out to see your calendar all at once, making it easy to drag and drop photos between layouts.

Order Editing Options
Under “Quick Order Options,” you can easily change your photos to one of the top 5 sizes.
Size Selection
Next to each photo, you’ll still find the option to select the sizes and quantities you’d like. Choose from 13 photo print sizes.
Photo Finish Updates
Go to “Quick Order Options” to change the finish for all. For a single print, open the dropdown menu to select glossy, matte or cardstock.
Back-of-Print Messages
Click “Back of Print Messaging” to easily change from the default file name. Add personalized notes, dates, stories, and more.
Does Shutterfly offer same-day printing?
Yes, Shutterfly offers same-day printing through CVS and Walgreens. Sizes include 4x6 glossy & matte, 5x7 glossy & matte, 8x10 glossy & matte, 11x14 matte, and 16x20 matte.
How do I order Same Day Prints
Just add prints to your cart, then click ‘same-day print pickup’ to select your store and pick them up the same day.
