"To begin with, the quality of the card is first rate. It is heavy cardstock with a slight sheen. Not glossy, but enough of a sheen to hightlight the picture. The color turned out very true to the original and the clarity was not compromised in the slightest. Unlike the sample photo which was black and white and very effective, I used a family photo where the family was in a variety of bright colors with an all white background. The "oh! What Fun!" caption matches the colors beautifully and created a very "fun" and contemporary card for us. It turned out better than I would have imagined and I love that we have stepped out of our traditional comfort zone this year. In addition to the cover photo, I did two large photos on the back. (Again, the quality of the photos turned out beautifully) I love the muliple options that are provided for the back of the card. Bravo Shutterfly! I have to admit that I never even noticed that the card doesn't contain "Merry Christmas" or "Happy Holidays" on it until after I received it and had been adding personal notes to several of them. I don't think this distracts from the card at all, but wanted to draw other's attention to it in case it is important to them. I will note that I easily could have chosen an option for the back which allowed me to add my own caption and message but elected not to do so. I have no complaints about the card and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it for anyone who wants an alternative to traditional holiday cards."
"Although there are a lot of templates to select from for Christmas cards (photo cards), there should be more of a choice for a single person. Everything refers to "we" or "our"...and you may not always be a we or an our :) For example, I used the "Our Top 5 Moments of 2012" card this year. That part of the card should be customizable so that you could change the Our to My Top 5 moments...if needed. Just a thought, but I'm sure there are a lot of people out there who would benefit from this!"
"We are happy with the printing, the color, but wish the actual paper it was on was better quality. Because the background is white, you can see the printing from the back come through to the front."
