Rosh Hashanah Cards For Coworkers

Keep your message warm, thoughtful, and appropriate for your working relationship. Try, “Wishing you and your loved ones a sweet new year filled with health, happiness, and peace.” For a closer colleague, add a personal note of appreciation for their support or collaboration.

A Rosh Hashanah card can be a thoughtful gesture for a coworker you know celebrates the holiday. Focus on good wishes for the Jewish New Year, and avoid making assumptions about someone’s beliefs or observance. A simple, respectful greeting works well for both close colleagues and professional acquaintances.

“Shanah tovah,” meaning “a good year,” is a common Rosh Hashanah greeting. You can also write “Shanah tovah umetukah,” which wishes someone a good and sweet year. Pair either phrase with a brief English message, such as “Wishing you a joyful start to the new year.”

Apples and honey, pomegranates, and shofars are meaningful Rosh Hashanah motifs. For a professional connection, consider an uncluttered layout with readable lettering and a warm holiday message. Choose imagery that honors the occasion without making the card feel overly formal or personal.

Address the recipient by name and include a shared wish for a sweet new year. A message such as “We’re grateful to work with you and wish you and your loved ones happiness in the year ahead” balances appreciation with holiday warmth. Finish with individual signatures or the team’s name.
