2012 Holiday Cards
"Our family and friends loved our 2012 holiday cards! Normally we go to JCPenny to have our holiday pictures taken, but due to a timing and procrastination issue, we would not have recieved the cards back in time to mail them out before Christmas, so we pulled out the camera and the tripod and starting snapping pictures of the family. We uploaded the pictrues on Tuesday, ordered the cards on Wednesday and had cards in our hands by Friday. Now that we know how professional the cards came out, we will be ordering future holiday and special occasion cards from Shutterfly more often."

"I create art so instead of a photo of me, I send out a photo of an art piece on my Christmas Cards. This year I have used 3 different companies to create cards....shutterfly, my publisher, and thru my Mac photo program. Shutterfly was the best because of clarity and quality of digital photo, you can create on the front AND the back of the card, the fonts for changing type are expansive and the heavy weight card stock is a premium.
I also photographed and digitally enhanced photo's of my friends houses and created note cards with their homes on the front. Then will give them as Christmas gifts. Again the quality was superior and I am really pleased with the heavy weight card stock and lovely envelopes. I was also able to create return address labels with my design."

"I took advantage of the 10 free holiday card offer, and "only" had to pay the almost $7 shipping, which I felt was rather high. The card itself was a beautiful design. However I was a little disappointed with the quality of the print of the picture. The black jacket my husband was wearing appeared purple-ish, seeming to indicate to me that Shutterfly's printing color was running low. If I had paid $.80+ and per card and gotten all my Christmas cards here, I would have been very unhappy, as the picture I submitted was fine, and the original photo showed the jacket black. I will continue to order through Shutterfly, however, since they usually do quality work."

These cards were a success
"These cards were a hit with everyone this year. Loved all of the pictures I put on the card - both sides. Writing is small and needs to be enlarged. Love the bright colors. Very happy with this purchase"

Love the Card, Except the Signature
"The card is beautiful. The picture quality is perfect and the text is nice. However, the signature is tiny and didn't allow me to make it multilined which frustrated me a bit. Not a big deal but please consider a multiline signature for this in the future."
Happy Holiday Cards
You want to send season’s greetings to loved ones who celebrate Christmas? Fantastic! Happy holiday cards will do just that! But, wait -- you also want to send warm wishes to friends and family who celebrate Hanukkah, Diwali, Kwanzaa or any number of other holidays that dot the fall and winter landscape? Not a problem. Holiday, which is derived from the phrase “holy day,” can cover each and every one, allowing you to choose a singular design to fulfill all of your card needs.
What to Include
This is the perfect time to remind those far away what you and your family look like nowadays. Whether you have kids, fur babies or a bedazzled sweater that you absolutely adore, add in a picture to share it with everyone who counts! Consider a tri-fold design like the winter holiday card, which offers space on both the front and back for photographic evidence of a life well-lived. Or, make a statement with one strong image surrounded by sparkles with a glitter holiday card, which will liven up any card display.
Know Where They Go
It is imperative to have an updated address book so none of your hard work gets returned mid-January. Curate your list early so you have time to verify changes that may have gone unnoticed at the time they occurred. Be sure you have complete addresses including apartment numbers and post office box information when creating your address labels. On the flip side of this coin, if there have been any changes to your own address, be sure to send out a notice to friends and family to ensure you do not miss out on correspondence they may have sent. If your move is recent, consider including an update alert to your happy holiday cards with the new info.
Send your holiday cards early to make sure they are delivered prior to respective holidays. You can also opt for the delivery service to have them sent directly from Shutterfly, marking yet another task from your holiday to-do list.
