"Last year I created photo mugs for my parents with photos of my children as Christmas gifts. We were putting together a themed basket of goodies and Shutterfly was offering an awesome deal on their mugs. My parents loved the mugs so much that they are now a tradition. We live in a different state, so I am shipping all of our Christmas gifts and since I knew I was going to make mugs this year, I went ahead and got them done while they were on sale. The process was extremely easy and at Shutterfly, you can just plug and play or be as creative as you want. Last year I used PSE with a digital Christmas template, was able to then just upload my entire layout to a blank mug and was ready to go. This year I used 2 of the awesome layouts that the Shutterfly designers have. I have made 6 mugs so far and they have all turned out awesome with amazing quality. The only issue I have is that they shipped out too fast and I didn't have time to tell my parents to not open the box until Christmas...they called to thank me and are using them now. Hilarious! I think they knew!"
