What customers have to say about our Christmas Cards

Love these snowflake Christmas cards!
"I always order our Christmas cards through Shutterfly but was so excited to see a Christmas card that doubles as an ornament. The cards are on very thick cardstock and are shaped like snowflakes. You can choose a picture and wording for both the front and the back. The cards come with a hole punched in the top of the card as well as gray ribbons to place through that hole for hanging the ornament/card. The size of the card is 6x6 I believe. If you get the square envelopes it will cost extra postage to mail them. Shutterfly gives you the option of a rectangle envelope which will cost just the regular price to mail so just be sure to click on that option when it comes to the envelope part of the editing. One thing I love about Shutterfly is that their color calibration on their photos cards and other items are always nice and consistent which I haven't found to be the case with other companies. Several times during the Christmas season Shutterfly offers 10 free cards when you only have to pay shipping. I designed my card ahead of time so that I am able to get free cards each time they are offered. All in all a great product!"

A Nice, Unconventional Holiday Card
"We chose this card due to the fact that it did not look like a traditional holiday card. Additionally, the year was quite eventful for us; and, as a result, we had several pictures we wanted to include to help recap the year. This particular card enabled us to include six photos on the front and one photo on the back. (I think you can use up to eight photos on the front though.)
Keep in mind that you may need to do a bit of cropping when placing photos on the front of the card. This is because the template for the holiday card won't accept photos done in landscape format (ie, rectangular photos) but it is easy to use the photo editing feature in Shutterfly to do the cropping. Also note that any text on your chosen photos probably won't be readable on the printed card. Thus, plan to put your captions elsewhere.
There's also room on the front of the card for a special message. My suggestion here is to go to a smaller sized font as the default size will not allow you to say much on this part of the card.
Another key feature of this card - which is an improvement from previous years - is that you are able to include one photo on the back. There's also a fairly large text box here as well and this is the area where we placed a more detailed message along with captions for photos shown on the front of the card.
Overall we were pleased with the entire "creative" process. Designing the card was simple; the Shutterfly service was fast; the price was right; the card stock was high quality; and we were all happy with the end result."

Professional Looking Card
"Shutterfly produced a nice holiday greeting card that I can send to friends and family. The shipping and handling charge was expensive though."
Folded Christmas Cards
When deciding what Christmas card to send to family and friends, do you want something bland from the general store or do you want to go with something that is entirely unique? With help from Shutterfly, you can create folded Christmas cards that are adorned with whatever pictures you want. The people in your life will be truly appreciative of the thought you put into these one-of-a-kind cards.
What to Include Inside Your Folded Christmas Cards
Various layout options are available that allows you to customize the front, back and even the inside of your card. For an added touch, you might want to consider leaving the inside blank so that you can hand write your own message to whomever you are sending the card to. If you are sending a card to your niece, nephew, cousin or anyone else, you will have no problems placing a check or a few bucks inside to put a smile on your relative’s face.
Designing the Outside of Your Christmas Cards
Whether you want to wish people a “Merry Christmas” or a “Happy Holidays,” you can have the outside of the card say whatever you want. That way you are able to send the cards to anyone regardless of whatever holiday they might celebrate. When you are deciding how many cards to order, make sure you order a few spares so that you can hang onto a few. Folded Christmas cards are perfect for decorating a fireplace. If you need a few more things to decorate the tree, take a look at these ornament Christmas cards.
Creating Your Cards
Once you have decided on the basic layout and coloring you want with your cards, you are ready to upload your image. Christmas is not the only time of year where you can get personalized cards either. If you or one of your children has a birthday coming up, then look into getting some customized folded cards for the special occasion.
