Red for Christmas
This is a good option for a Christmas card - ours came as ordered online and came quite quickly. The paper isn't quite as matte as I would have liked, but it's not a full gloss page either. As a standard size, it doesn't require additional postage which is good because this time of year, who needs an additional trip to the post office to get special stamps.
If you're thinking of this card, here are a few key considerations:
-As the primary color of the card is red, make sure your photo colors compliment that color. If any of you wear red or have red hair, it'll be amped up a bit because the printing amplifies the red.
- If you have multiple photos, consider the balance of the images in laying out the card.
- Consider using black and white for the central image or the primary image you want to stand out. With the color everywhere else, having a toned down image is like having a visual break.

Wonderful & fun
I had fun making my Christmas card, the worst thing about the whole process was deciding which pictures to use! They arrived promptly & in excellent condition. They came out perfect! I have received many compliments about them. I use Shutterfly a lot but had never done a custom Christmas card, will definitely do it again. Love Shutterfly!

Great choice for holiday cards!
Cards look great! We chose the matte finish to make them look more like traditional greeting cards and it was the right choice. Special order cards from a printer would have been much more expensive for the same quality. We've used Shutterfly to order our holiday cards for the last three years and have always been happy!
