photo book
I have made photo books 8 x 8 hard cover for my grandson's basketball team for the past 4 years and an annual book for my great grand daughter for the past three years. They are very easy to make and the quality of these books is excellent. The turn around time is fast. I am very happy with Shutterfly.
I also appreciate the offers that they send out.
I have also order calendars with a monthly photo of my paintings and cards. Again the quality of these produst is excellent.
I will continue to order from them.

Shutterfly sucks
My Kodak account was transferred to Shutterfly so I decided to use them for my family Christmas card. To my dismay shutterfly printed their Logo along the whole bottom of my card completely destroying the continuity of the card. It looks terrible! I paid a lot of money for the cards, Shutterfly should not have used my card to advertise. I will never use them again!

Supersized Christmas Greeting
I chose this style of card because it is predominantly an image, with minimal text overlay at the bottom. I love that there is an option to do the text in black or white. In my case, I needed white to make the words pop off the background.
The BEST part of this card is the optional treatments on the back. There is a choice to include paragraphs of text on the back, so I included my own family "updates" without having to write a separate letter. I love the convenience - and the ability to say as much or little as I needed. This is the first year we've actually been able to include family "notes" because Shutterfly made it so easy.
I am glad I had a professional grade image to use on the front; otherwise, the resolution from a regular camera might not have been high enough. Further, since the image is the "hero" on this card, you need a good picture to make this work.
My mistake was that I accidentally clicked the "6x8" size instead of the "5x7", so I have supersized Christmas cards this year. It is a good picture, but I feel a little self-conscious about sending something so large. We are an humble family.
I like the weight of the cardstock; though I do wish it had just a slightly more "linen" character. That is why I rated it 4 stars out of 5.
I have already recommended this and similar Shutterfly card styles to two family members - and they are using them, too.

a little dark
Despite the original picture showing much more light, the card and the magnets I purchased both seemed a little dark. I was somewhat disappointed.

Wonderful Holiday card
This card came out great!!! The quality of the paper to the way it allows you to play with your photo to get it just right!!! This year our card was a true success.

First Time Order of Cards - COMPLETELY IMPRESSED
I ordered "post card" style cards with envelopes - I thought the photo I uploaded was good, but when I got the cards it looked even better - somehow the lighting was adjusted and the shadows and skin tones were brightened - Everyone was impressed!

crisp images, great paper, and a very timely delivery!
I thought I'd take Shutterfly's cards out for my first spin and am extremely pleased with the results. I love the matte finish, the crispness of the image, and the card stock. Fabulous.

Love Shutterfly!

Holiday Card
Could not have been easier to set up and order this card. They also arrived very quickly. Unfortunately, the colors on the picture - which makes up an entire side of the card - varied greatly from the proof on the screen. We seriously debated ordering another card from our usual order site based on the poor quality of final photo on the card. To add injury to insulate, the envelopes provided are too big for the cards. Easy, good price, poor quality - not worth it!
