5-year-old Ryland Ward is a survivor of the devastating Sutherland Springs, TX shooting that took place in November earlier this year. Ryland lost his stepmother and his two sisters in the shooting and he’s now being cared for by his grandmother, Sandy Ward. Although Ryland’s family expected the young boy to head home in early December, Ryland’s doctors now expect him to be in the hospital for another six to eight weeks.
