Upload Your Own Card Design

Upload and Print Your Own Card Design

Whether you've designed a Christmas card in Canva, created wedding invitations in Photoshop, purchased a printable template, or worked with a graphic designer to create custom stationery, Shutterfly makes it easy to turn your artwork into professionally printed cards. Upload your finished design and print everything from holiday cards and graduation announcements to baby shower invitations, birthday invitations, thank you cards, and more.

Unlike traditional card templates, Upload Your Own Design gives you complete creative control over the artwork while still providing access to Shutterfly's premium printing, customization options, and mailing features. Choose the card style that works best for your project, upload your file, and create personalized stationery that's uniquely yours.

Upload Your Design to a Variety of Card Formats

Every design is different, which is why Upload Your Own Design is available across multiple card formats. Print your artwork as flat cards, folded cards, trifold cards, gatefold cards, magnets, and even custom address labels. Whether you're sending Christmas cards, wedding invitations, graduation invitations, or business correspondence, you can choose the format that best fits your design and message.

Many card styles also offer premium cardstock and trim options, allowing you to give your finished design a polished, professional look. From classic straight trims to decorative edges and specialty papers, you can customize the final presentation while keeping your original artwork intact.

Custom Card Printing with More Ways to Personalize Your Design

Uploading your own design doesn't mean personalization ends with the front of the card. After uploading your artwork, you can customize the back of your card at no additional cost using Shutterfly's free back-of-card layouts. Add more photos, include a personal message, share event details, choose a decorative background, or keep the back simple with a clean design that complements your artwork.

You can also choose from a variety of envelope options to coordinate with your stationery, including custom envelopes, colored envelopes, pre-lined foil envelopes, and envelope liners. Recipient and return address printing options make it simple to create a polished mailing experience from start to finish.
