Wallet prints are a small, easy way to turn favorite photos into prints you can keep close, tuck into a card, or share with family and friends. Their compact size makes them especially handy when you want something smaller than a standard photo print without losing the look and feel of a traditional printed photo.
At Shutterfly, wallet prints come in sets of four, with four copies of your photo printed together on a 5″ x 7″ sheet.
What Size Is a Wallet Print?
A Shutterfly wallet print is approximately 2.5″ x 3.5″ once trimmed, making it smaller than a traditional 4″ x 6″ photo print.
Wallet prints arrive as a set of four photos on an uncut 5″ x 7″ sheet. Simply trim along the photos to separate them into four individual wallet-size prints.
Each photo has a thin white border around the image. Before trimming, that border is approximately 1/8″. Once the prints are cut apart, the finished border will be approximately 1/16″ to 1/8″ wide on all sides.

What Are Wallet-Size Photos Used For?
The smaller format makes wallet prints useful anywhere a full-size photo would be a little too big. You can:
- Slip a favorite photo into your wallet or bag
- Share copies with grandparents, relatives, and friends
- Tuck a photo into a greeting card or letter
- Display photos in small frames
- Use them in scrapbooks, journals, and other photo projects
- Print school portraits, family photos, pet pictures, or other snapshots you want extra copies of
Because each order includes four of the same photo, wallet prints are especially convenient when you want a few copies to hand out rather than ordering separate prints one at a time.
How Do Shutterfly Wallet Prints Arrive?
Shutterfly wallet prints arrive together on an uncut 5″ x 7″ sheet rather than as four individually cut photos, so you’ll need to trim the prints apart yourself.
One thing to know before ordering: Back of Print messaging isn’t available for wallet-size prints.
